I'm afraid this game was rush released hence the bug, there is also a lack of music which should have been included (although pressing '1' will actually play some placeholder music).
I'll do a bug fix and hopefully release the 128 version with its own music.
Seems like a nice game… BUT, why the heck is the key to move right U rather than P (i.e. QAOU Space)?! It makes it incredibly confusing and un-ergonmic to play. Surely this is a mistake? Thankfully it's possible to use the Sinclair 1 joystick keys instead (67890) if you start the game with 0 rather than Space.

Had a go of this recently, here. In the end, the poke I tried didn't change the keys, and so I just to go with the odd way in which they were coded.
